Do I need to book, or can I walk in?: Book online to lock a date, time, and specialist. Some specialists also take walk-ins from their dashboard when they have a gap — ask them or check their profile. Walk-in is never guaranteed.
How do I book?: Search or open a category, pick a specialist, add services, and pay the deposit (and booking fee) on Paystack. That is the booking portal — 24/7. There is no central reception desk. After you book you can WhatsApp that specialist from your confirmation or Appointments.
What is the cancellation policy?: Give at least 24 hours’ notice from Appointments to keep your deposit eligible for refund. Inside 24 hours the deposit is forfeited. A no-show forfeits the deposit and the booking fee. We do not auto-charge 50% or 100% of the remaining service. Full rules: Visit policies.
When do you send reminders?: Transactional email about 24 hours and about 2 hours before the visit, plus push if you opted in. Enable reminders on Appointments. These are not marketing emails.

What should I do before a colour appointment?: Many colourists prefer hair washed about a day before, not immediately before, and no heavy root concealer. Confirm with your specialist — products and methods differ.
What is builder gel (BIAB)?: Builder in a bottle is a strengthening gel overlay on natural nails. It usually needs an infill every 3–4 weeks. Book it under Nail tech if your specialist offers gel-set or BIAB on their menu.
What do I wear for a massage or body treatment?: That depends on the specialist and whether they come to you or you go to their studio. They should explain draping and what to wear. BetaSteez does not send a robe — ask them before you travel.
Can I book a massage if I am pregnant?: Only if the specialist offers prenatal work and you have cleared it with your clinician. Many therapists wait until after 12 weeks. Message them before you pay a deposit.
Are facials safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?: A good facial starts with a consult. Ask your makeup or skincare specialist what they use. We do not run a single clinic formula — each pro chooses their products.
Do you sell gift cards?: Not yet. Do not buy a “BetaSteez gift card” from a stranger. Share a referral code instead — a new client gets ₦300 off a first qualifying booking.
